    The Academic & Student Programs at Mercatus offers and hosts a diversity of fellowship programs for undergraduate and graduate students across all majors and disciplines who are interested in better understanding the economic, political, social, and cultural institutions that affect people’s ability to live free, prosperous, peaceful, and empowered lives. Undergraduate Fellows study and critically discuss the ideas with other undergraduate students from across the Mason community and with Mason faculty and Mercatus scholars. In response, the Center for Retail Transformation will host a half-day, virtual summit on April 20th, from Noon to 4 p.m. explaining how retailers can thrive in today’s environment.

    Graduates are encouraged to attend both the official university commencement ceremony and their school's degree celebration ceremony. The University Spring Commencement will take place Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 10 am in the EagleBank Arena. The School of Business Degree Celebration will take place May 20 at 6 pm in the EagleBank Arena.

    The Scholarship Fund of the Greater Washington Society of CPAs is accepting applications for the 2023 Scholarship Awards Program. Students who meet the application criteria are invited to apply for a scholarship award from the Scholarship Fund. Students must complete the online application by the deadline--April 23, 2023.

    The Center for Real Estate Entrepreneurship (CREE) is pleased to announce the establishment of the CREE Advisory Board Undergraduate Scholarships which will award $2,500 scholarships to students who are in the Minor in Real Estate Development program. The scholarships will be awarded starting in the Fall 2023 semester.
