In EagleBank’s Summer Internship Program, you will build a network dedicated to supporting your long-term career
objectives. Work alongside successful Commercial Bankers in order to tackle genuine business challenges, experience
exposure to Senior Leadership, and participate in local and bank-wide social events.
Commercial Lending Internships
Commercial Lending Summer Interns assist with impactful CRE, C&I, or B2B lending projects. Duties may involve helping to formulate recommendations, manage portfolios, and other commercial lending transactions. Assist with assembling financial statements and loan documents. Help with administration of the customer relationship management system. Assist in the due diligence and preparation of underwriting requests.
Community Banking (Summer Tellers)
Teller Summer Interns learn hands-on to provide consistent, quality service to customers while handling transactions in a prompt and efficient manner. Responsibilities include assisting customers with financial transactions, including paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments. Cross-training and exposure to other Bank positions included. The Community Banking division includes our branch network and Customer Care Center. We provide full banking services, including account setup and maintenance, cash management products, and in-person assisted and automated transaction services.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college degree program: Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or applicable field.
- Must be organized, self-motivated, and a dependable team player.
- Possess excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, intermediate computer skills, and the ability to be self-directed and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel to EagleBank offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Some positions will be 100% in the office and some will allow for up to 2 days/week of remote work.
