CFC is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Capital Markets team. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the administration, reporting and analysis of CFC’s long term funding programs and derivatives portfolio. This position will also provide support for the debt compliance process and collateral monitoring.

As a Financial Analyst, you will:

  • Assist with all operational aspects needed for the administration and servicing of CFC’s public and private long-term funding programs and derivative portfolios.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports.
  • Provide customer service to CFC’s members by supporting member investment programs.
  • Analyze and report on CFC’s collateral to support secured long term debt programs, and prepare documentation required for regulatory compliance within each program.
  • Support other debt compliance and Audit/Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
  • Assist with the quarterly debt and derivatives valuation process.
  • Maintain and update financial models.
  • Create ad-hoc reports and perform other requested tasks as needed.
  • Make recommendations and update group procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business required.
  • At least 1 year of related experience.
  • Experience working in corporate treasury or financial institution desired.
  • An understanding and ability to apply knowledge of corporate finance.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office suite, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
  • Basic financial modeling skills.
  • Bloomberg Terminal experience, a plus.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and take direction from multiple sources.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
