Department: Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Lending

Department Overview
Our C&I department manages the relationships to business and professional services firms (doctors, lawyers, etc.) which have credit needs for operating purposes, including loans to finance the buildings in which the business operates.
Internship Description:
A summer college-level internship with primary responsibilities including, but not limited to: assisting with C&I lending projects that may require data gathering, fact finding, and data analysis and reporting. Other duties may involve assisting with formulating recommendations, portfolio management services, due diligence, and other C&I transactions.
- Assist with assembling financial statements and loan documents.
- Assist with administration of the customer relationship management system.
- Assist in the due diligence and preparation of C&I underwriting requests.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college degree program: Accounting, Economics, or an applicable field.
- Must be organized, self motivated, and a dependable team player.
- Possess excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, intermediate computer skills, and the ability to be self-directed and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel to EagleBank offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
