February 1, 2023Are you an Accounting Major? Thinking of becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), but unsure of what you need to do and how to do it? Then this session is for YOU! On Wednesday March 1, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. the Accounting Department will be hosting a CPA, MSA, and Certification Information Session. This will be a hybrid event hosted through Zoom and in person at the Johnson Center in room G. We will have faculty members and representatives to discuss the eligibility requirements for becoming a CPA, other certifications, and the MSA program here at GMU. Be sure to RSVP to join us! The Mobilization and Political Economy Summer Research Program at the University of Pittsburgh will train undergraduate students from underrepresented groups to research mobilization and political economy and support their placement in graduate programs. The program provides a stipend and covers travel expenses and lodging. Application deadline: Tuesday, January 31st, 11:59PM.
