Biography

Jim Gerace has been in Marketing for over 30 years, the last 24 of which were spent at IBM in various Marketing roles.

Most recently Jim was Vice President, Performance Marketing for IBM North America and in this capacity, he led the demand generation function across all IBM Business Units for a $35B business. His team of 150 Digital, Events, Analytics and Campaign Professionals implemented an integrated set of customer engagement activities to generate marketing qualified leads (MQLs) for IBM Sales teams and the Business Partner Channel.

Prior to this role, Jim led demand generation for various IBM Business Units including IBM Global Business Services and Industry Solutions, creating and implementing innovative, industry focused marketing campaigns to engage clients and drive opportunities for IBM sellers. Jim has also held other WW and Geography Marketing roles in his IBM career in digital and direct marketing.

Currently Jim is an Adjunct Professor or Marketing at his alma mater, Merrimack College in North Andover, MA. Jim has a BS in Marketing (Merrimack College) and an MBA in Management (Bentley University) and also holds an Advanced Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in UK. Jim lives in Lynnfield, MA with his wife Maureen.
