"GSA has to rightsize its lease portfolio," former GSA administrator tells Fox News Digital
Baroni Center Senior Fellow and former GSA administrator Emily W. Murphy spoke with Fox News Media's Andrew Mark Miller and Deirdre Heavey about the GSA's efforts to reduce costs and waste by right sizing its portfolio of office buildings and selling the ones it isn't using.
With 361 million square feet of office space under its management, Emily explained that GSA has a tremendous opportunity to save tremendous amounts of money.
But there are benefits beyond saving money – selling unused buildings helps revitalize communities who can now use these spaces to meet a variety of needs.
