Why did you pursue your program, and why did you choose George Mason University?
I pursued the MS in Management Program to broaden my knowledge, expand my skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the business world. This program offers the opportunity to enhance my expertise and navigate the complexities of modern business environments. I chose George Mason University because of the culture and diversity. From pursuing my undergraduate degree at George Mason, I knew this was the only place I'd consider completing my master's degree at!

What are the highlights of your experience so far?
As someone who pursued the Bachelor's to Accelerated Master's Program (BAM), I had the opportunity to network with past MS in Management students, and many professors while finishing my bachelor's degree. Throughout my experience in this program, I’ve gained a great deal of knowledge from my professors, who have not only been highly knowledgeable, but also deeply invested in my education and future career goals. Their dedication and support has made a significant impact on my learning journey and professional development. The faculty within this program are extremely supportive, from the advisors, deans, professors to the career services. The students within the MS in Management program are supportive and are always there to help one another which is what makes this program so enjoyable and community based.

What goals do you have for the future?
My goals for the future are to work in health care management. My first career goal will be to pursue a position in human resources within a hospital. My extensive knowledge in community health will provide me with the insights to better serve those within my community.

Can you tell us an interesting fact about yourself?
I'm bilingual, fluent in both English and Arabic, which gives me the ability to connect with a diverse group of people.

Do you have any advice for aspiring candidates for your program?
My advice for aspiring candidates is to attend information sessions within this program and schedule meetings with advisors to ensure it's the best fit for you. Although the format of the program and eight week courses may seem intimidating, it will allow you to become more disciplined, and prioritize time management skills. By developing these skills you will be able to work in any fast paced working environment and will excel beyond measures. Furthermore, don't ever hesitate to ask for help, faculty members are always there to support and guide you along with current students such as myself.
