Spring 2025 Academic Advising Hours
The first day of classes for Spring 2025 is Tuesday, January 21. The academic advising team will be offering in-person and virtual Peak Advising drop-in hours now through January 28.
Peak Drop-In Advising Hours for the Week of January 13:
- Monday, January 13: 9:30-11:30am and 1-4pm
- Tuesday January 14: 9:30-11:30am and 1-4pm
- Wednesday, January 15: 1-4pm
- Thursday, January 16: No Advising hours due to New Student Orientation
- Friday, January 17: 1-4pm.
Please note: There will be no advising hours available for Thursday, January 16 due to New Student Orientation. On Monday, January 20, the University will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Who is my academic advisor?
The Office of Student Success and Academic Services within the Costello College of Business at George Mason University has a staff of professional academic advisors to help you navigate your business degree requirements and guide you on items including course scheduling, registration, change of major/concentration, minor advising, making referrals, and more.
To find your academic advisor, log in to Patriot Web, navigate to “Student Services” → “Student Profile,” and locate the "Advisors" section at the bottom of the profile. You can also find this information in your Degree Audit and Navigate Mason. You are not limited to meeting with your assigned academic advisor although it is recommended.
