The DC Chapter of the Accounting and Financial Women's Alliance 2024-2025 scholarship application is now available. The equal opportunity scholarship program will provide one $1,500 scholarship this year, which will be awarded in the Spring of 2024 to be applied to the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year.
Scholarship Criteria: Scholarship candidates will be reviewed on leadership, character, communication skills, scholastic average, and financial need. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Majoring in accounting or finance.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent).
- For undergraduate student applicants: Must have completed or will complete sophomore year of college (or 60 semester hours or the equivalent) by the end of the Spring 2024 semester.
Application deadline: April 15, 2024.
