The School of Management’s Executive MBA Program is proud to have strong connections with the local business community. Each George Mason University EMBA student is invited and encouraged to take advantage of our relationship with the Mason Business Alliance, which includes free membership for all Mason EMBA students.
The Business Alliance is a nonprofit 501(C)-(3) organization that fosters program-related partnerships between George Mason University and the metropolitan area business community. Members volunteer their time and professional expertise to initiate, direct, and support education-related programs and activities associated with the university. The Business Alliance hosts a variety of educational and investment forums, networking events, and business education and volunteer activities—all of which are designed to help participants become more successful through the exchange of ideas and information.
The Business Alliance also organizes and implements mentoring sessions for EMBA students. Our EMBA program''s relationship with the Business Alliance was recently honored with the Diamond Partnership Award.
The EMBA program has an advisory council consisting of a select group of regional business professionals who work to create joint opportunities for the School of Management and its EMBA students. The EMBA Advisory Council provides EMBA students with professional development activities and networking events to further their business connections within the region and enhance their professional career.
