Gunston Business Scholars
The Gunston Business Scholars are a select group of students who represent the ideals of the School of Management. These scholars continuously demonstrate respect for the rights, differences, and dignity of others, act with integrity in dealing with all members of the community, and are accountable for personal behavior as they achieve excellence both in and out of the classroom.
The Gunston Business Scholar is an intellectually curious leader who has the vision to make a significant contribution to global business.
Every fall a panel of faculty select a total of five students to be Gunston Business Scholars. Selection of Gunston Business Scholars will be a highly-competitive process based on superior academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement.
Each student selected as a Gunston Business Scholar will receive:
- $5,000 in scholarship support each year of their academic career for a maximum of 4 years as long as they maintain certain academic standards
- a mentor selected from the Dean's Advisory Council
- invitation to special School of Management events
