This program is designed to assist students with their job interviews through training modules and mock interviews to better prepare them for on-campus interviewing.

Program Logistics

The program has six components. The first three components have the option of completing through an in-person workshop or an online training program.  The fourth component is a mock interview; there are three alternatives to choose from.  The fifth component is a web seminar.  The final component is a Student Evaluation Form. 

The Program Components Include:

1.  Complete the On-Campus Interview (OCI) Online Tutorial.
2. Attend Resume and Cover Letter Workshop OR Complete the Resume Web Shop.
3. Attend the Behavioral Interviewing Workshop OR Attend the Interviewing Skills for Non-Native Speakers Workshop OR Complete an online practice interview on Interview Stream and send to a Career Consultant ( This email address is being protected from spambots. 4. Attend Interview Practice Day with Employers OR Complete a Practice Interview one-on-one with a Career Consultant OR Complete an online practice interview on Interview Stream and send to a Career Consultant for feedback, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.   (If student used this for Requirement #3, they must choose one of the other options for Requirement #4).
5. Complete the Web Shop: "What Employer's Want."
6. Complete the Student Evaluation Form.

1. On-Campus Interview (OCI) workshops are available online.
2. Resume and Cover Letter Workshops will be held on the following dates:
   
   • February 11, 2013 at NOON, SUB I, Room 3400
   • May 23, 2013 at 9:30AM, SUB I, Room 3400
   • April 12, 2013 at 11:00AM, SUB I, Room 3400-Focus on International Students
3. Behavioral Interviewing Workshops will be held on the following dates:
   
   • February 11, 2013 at 4:30PM, SUB I, Room 3311
   • April 8, 2013 at 5:30PM, SUB I, Room 3400
   • May 23, 2013 at 1:30PM, SUB I, Room 3400
   • April 12, 2013 at 2:15PM, SUB I, Room 3400-Focus Interviewing Skills for Non-Native Speakers
4. Interview Practice Days will be held on the following dates:
   
   • February 7, 2013 from 9:30AM-3:30PM, SUB I, Room 3400
   • February 13, 2013 from 9:30AM-3:30PM, SUB I, Room 3400
   • Register for these dates with University Career Services.
