The School of Management’s partners play an integral role in the school’s mission of providing quality undergraduate and graduate business education.
The School of Management has an advisory council of industry leaders and several of our programs—including EMBA, Technology Management, Accounting, and Real Estate—have advisory councils. The councils help guide the programs to ensure that they are current and provide a rigorous education for current and future students.
Our corporate partners, consisting of firms in finance, telecommunications, information systems, national defense and security, aerospace and federal agencies, among others, support efforts both inside and outside the classroom. They help enable the school to fulfill its goal of providing a bridge from academic research to practice.
The School of Management also has organizational partners in many fields which further enrich the educational experience and academic depth of the school’s programs and research. The School of Management is a member of the Council of Latin American Schools of Management (CLADEA), which is an international network of business schools, and the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), a global organization with members from academia, business, public service, and consultancy that create a unique forum for information, research, networking, and debate on innovation and best practice in management development.
Our MS in Technology Management program students benefit from our membership in the federal government’s CIO University. We are one of seven university partners and our students receive CIO certification in additon to their degree.
