Welcomefest has Record Turnout of 730 Students
The School of Management's Office of Academic and Career Services (OACS) hosted Welcomefest with a record turnout of 730 students. WelcomeFest is the School of Management's largest event of the year and welcomes School of Management students back to campus each fall. WelcomeFest gives undergraduate students the opportunity to learn about School of Management majors, the newly updated PACE program, clubs and student organizations, and career services.

"This is a fun kickoff event for the fall semester and a great way for students to network with each other, student organizations, and faculty and staff," says Meggan Ford, assistant director of Academic Services.
Among those at WelcomFest were Dean Jorge Haddock, Associate Dean Alison O'Brien, Assistant Dean Jim Gilbert, and many School of Management faculty and staff members. School of Management t-shirts were given to attendees and an iPad was raffled by OACS.
"We hope to see you all sporting your School of Management t-shirts around the Mason campus," says Ford.
