Welcomefest a Huge Success

Once again, the School of Management’s Office of Academic and Career Services (OACS) planned an exciting WelcomeFest, hosting over 700 students in attendance.
WelcomeFest is the School of Management’s largest event of the year and welcomes School of Management students back to campus each fall. WelcomeFest gives undergraduate students the opportunity to learn about School of Management majors, the PACE program, clubs and student organizations, and career services.
Among those at WelcomFest were President Alan Merten, Dean Haddock, the Mason Patriot and many School of Management faculty and staff members.
Chris Lee, an information systems and operations management major, and Matthew Taylor, an accounting major, won the two iPads that were raffled by the OACS. Lee offered advice to future WelcomeFest attendees, “Never leave WelcomeFest early. You never know what you might miss.”
