Mahesh Joshi

Mahesh P. Joshi is an associate professor of management. He received his PhD in strategic management and international management from Temple University. Prior to receiving his PhD, he received a BS in mathematics and operations research from Bombay University and also obtained a post graduate diploma in international business from Xavier Institute of Management.

Dr. Joshi's research interests include technology and its relation to strategic change, corporate entrepreneurship, and the role of middle managers in strategic changes and post-deregulation global strategic changes. Additionally, he has researched in the area of business continuity planning, corporate governance and role of institutional investors in corporate governance. Recently he has focused on manufacturing strategies and its relationship to firm performance and the new communication technologies (such as the Internet) and its effect on technology service organizations. Joint Program Coordinator: Nacef Mouri, School of Management

Nacef MouriNacef Mouri joined the School of Management as an assistant professor of marketing in 2006. He earned both a PhD in marketing and an MBA from the University of Central Florida.

Dr. Mouri's research interests focus primarily on the relationship between strategic alliances and the consumer. Other areas of interest include brand equity, offshoring, and salesforce management. His research won awards from the Academy of Marketing Science, the Society for Marketing Advances, and the Southern Management Association. His research has appeared in the Journal of Travel Research, Industrial Marketing Management, and Journal of Business Venturing as well as in several conference proceedings. Joint Program Coordinator: Paul M. Rogers, CHSS

Paul RogersPaul M. Rogers (PhD 2008 University of California, Santa Barbara) is an Assistant Professor of English at George Mason University and the Director of the Northern Virginia Writing Project.  In addition to working with K-12 teachers throughout Northern Virginia, he teaches courses in academic writing, business writing, and advanced nonfiction writing, and leads graduate seminars in the teaching of writing, composition theory, and research methods in professional writing and rhetoric.  He also teaches Introduction to Entrepreneurship. Program Advisor: Roger Stough, VP for Research & Economic Development

In addition to being George Mason's vice president for research and economic development, Roger Stough is the NOVA endowed chair and a professor of public policy. His educational background includes a BS in international trade and economics from Ohio State University, an MA in economic geography from the University of South Carolina, and a PhD in geography and environmental engineering from Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Stough has an extensive publication record, including several hundred scholarly and professional publications, 12 books and nearly 100 journal articles.He also has a wide range of graduate and undergraduate teaching experience, with over 30 years logged in eight separate institutions (including Johns Hopkins University, University of South Carolina, Indiana University, Leiden and Erasmus Universities in the Netherlands, George Mason University). He has extensive experience interfacing the university with the local, state, regional, national communities and international groups.
