Admissions Process
-
Submit online application and fee by appropriate admissions deadline.
- Please note that the Full time MBA is at the Fairfax campus only.
- Please do not submit materials or items prior to submitting an on-line application.
- The following documents must be uploaded and submitted with the online application: résumé, career goals statement, and professional essay. Professional recommendations are sent and received electronically as part of the online application.
-
Official transcripts should be sent directly to the MBA Admissions Office. GMAT scores will be made available to the MBA Admissions Office electronically if you request scores be sent to George Mason University when taking the exam. Or you can submit official GRE scores in place of the GMAT. We will accept either exam. We do not offer any waivers for these exams, a score must be submitted in order to have your application reviewed.
-
The admissions committee will review your application file. An interview is by invitation only for the Traditional (full time) MBA program only. We will notify you if you have been selected to interview.
-
If accepted into the Mason MBA program, you will enroll by the appropriate deadline.
All admissions decisions are final. You must enroll under the program for which you applied. To change your credit hour status, you must re-apply for that program.
No portion of the portfolio is weighted more than another; the admissions committee considers the entire application to ensure that they have a complete profile of a candidate’s professional and academic qualifications.
