Your Future is Waiting. Right Here. Right Now.

The Mason MBA's highly competitive acceptance rate is based on a number of factors: your fit within the program and potential contribution to a collegial learning environment, relevant work experience, leadership potential, letters of recommendation, and a competitive GMAT or GRE score.

We request that an applicant not submit any documents to the program prior to submitting their application. Please send the documents only after one has applied.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or recognized qualifications equivalent to a degree
  • GMAT score or the GRE score (no requests for exceptions or waivers will be considered)

Two years of full-time, post-baccalaureate professional employment is recommended. Mason MBA students enter the program with an average of six years of experience. Students come from a wide variety of industries and specializations, such as consulting, development, technology, marketing, engineering, accounting, finance and government.

We recommend (but not require) students have at least one college-level calculus course prior to enrolling in the Mason MBA program.
