Travel

Step 1: Traveling to the Washington Metropolitan Area
If you plan to fly to the conference, use either Dulles or Reagan National airports. Another possibility is to take Amtrak to Union Station in Washington, D.C.

Step 2: Traveling to the Hotel/Conference

• From Dulles Airport, it will be easiest to take a taxi to the Mason Inn Conference Center and Hotel. Alternatively, you can take a taxi to the Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metro Station and take a complimentary shuttle to the Mason Inn. George Mason University has complimentary shuttles to and from the Vienna Metro Station. Take a look at the schedules.
• From Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, either take a taxi to the Mason Inn or take the Metro Blue line toward Largo Town Center. At Rosslyn, transfer to the Orange Line toward Vienna/Fairfax and take it to the Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metro Station at the end of the line. You can take a taxi or complimentary shuttle to the Mason Inn. George Mason University has complimentary shuttles to and from the Vienna Metro Station. Take a look at the schedules.
• From Union Station, either take a taxi or take the Metro Red line toward Shady Grove. At Metro Center, transfer to the Orange Line toward Vienna/Fairfax and take it to the Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metro Station at the end of the line.
