Volunteers Needed for OIPS Student Advisory Board

The Office of International Programs and Services is looking for Mason students from a wide range of academic programs to serve as members of the OIPS Student Advisory Board.

The application deadline has been extended to November 15, 2013.

All students—regardless of citizenship, country of origin, or academic program—are welcome to apply for board positions!

OIPS Student Advisory Board members will have opportunities to:

  1. Improve your intercultural communication and leadership skills by working among a diverse group of student board members toward shared goals.
  2. Increase global awareness at Mason by contributing to international programming.
  3. Strengthen services and support for Mason’s diverse student population.
  4. Gain practical experience in the fields of student affairs and international education.

The OIPS Student Advisory Board will meet monthly throughout the academic year. Members are appointed to one-year terms of service, renewable twice.
