Recruiting Coordinator in Reston, VA
Full-Time :: $12/hr ($40k + benefits after 3 months)

Job Overview:
Recruiting Coordinator for the Recruiting Department’s Headquarters in Reston Virginia, your prior experience as a team-player in a busy recruiting function will be essential to your success. Your attention to detail, ability to follow through, stay organized, and exercise good time management will play an important function in this role.

Highlights of Responsibilities:

  • Ensures on-boarding process is initiated and is continually successful through a partnership with HR to include process enhancement following routine audit.
  • Validates offer letter approval flow is consistent with offer letter and adjusts as needed resulting in a Word/PDF document to Recruiter/Candidate.
  • Owns Recruiting Department accounting process.
  • Organize and mail out New Hire welcome package.
  • Initiates and verifies background check through third party.
  • Enter new hire data to produce weekly report of hires on a regular basis.
  • Tracks new hires, contingent hires, and declines in Microsoft Excel workbook.
  • Manage Employee Referral program including tracking, payout, and entry into HRMS (Workday).
  • Creates all purchase requisitions and changes orders for Department.
  • Reports directly to the Director of Recruiting.
  • Produce reports for the Director of Recruiting as needed.
  • Tracks and obtains approval on all invoices for Department.
  • Monitors and tracks usage of department Purchase Card.
  • Reports directly to the Director of Recruiting.
  • Produce regular reports using accounting system (Cognos/Costpoint).
  • Produce reports for the Director of Recruiting as needed.
  • Ensures all contract recruiters are paid on time and oversees contract recruiter invoice process.
  • Maintains organization and integrity of Recruiters SharePoint site including assigning permissions.
  • Maintains overall design and organization of SharePoint site including uploading documents as needed.
  • Helps recruiter(s) prepare for job fairs and open houses.
  • Presents options and conducts quarterly meeting for team consensus on branding giveaways; manages inventory.
  • Pushes telephone and internet inquiries to applicable HR/recruiting owner.
  • Orders supplies for Department.
  • Train new Recruiters on invoicing, offer letters, on-boarding, decline/rescind, SharePoint, reporting, career fairs, employee referrals process/policy.
  • Set up and monitor Recruiter compliance training (EEO, ADA, Ethics, etc.).

Job Requirements:

  • Experience creating large and complex reports in Microsoft Excel; intermediate level with Microsoft Office Suite (with emphasis in Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • BS or BA degree in Accounting, MIS, Business Administration.
  • Experience supporting a staff of 10-15.

Preferred Experience and Education:

  • Experience supporting a staff of 10-15.
  • 1-2 years of experience within a recruiting/staffing function.
  • Knowledge of OFCCP and EEOC guidelines as they relate to hiring practices.
