DynCorp International – Internship
Spring Semester, 2013

Type of Work:

Working primarily with and for our personnel putting together competitive business intelligence.  This includes the gathering, depicting and analyzing of all publicly available records on the competitive environment in which DynCorp operates.  Interns will be tasked with gathering information from Securities and Exchange Commission EDGAR filings, assimilating internet research, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) filings and social networking data to build profiles on competitive strengths and weaknesses of participants in the global defense contracting business arena.  Interns will work with our personnel to develop presentations to be shared through our management structure.

Intern Requirements:

Prefer senior undergraduates or graduate program students who are well versed in research techniques, finance, accounting, economics.  Should have strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills, to include at a minimum, MS Office Suite. Smart. Prompt. Neat. Organized and hard working.

Location of Work:

Our Corporate headquarters is located in the Fairview Park office park, just off of highway 50 in west Falls Church.  This will be the primary place of work.  Occasionally work may be authorized from pre-agreed offsites such as library or research facilities.
