Cobalt – Marketing & Communications Manager Intern

Cobalt is a rapidly growing technology firm that specializes in serving associations, not-for-profits, and other membership-based organizations by providing them the right products and services to achieve their mission. This puts us in the very fortunate position of being able to help many organizations every day as they strive to improve some facet of our world. We currently have a great opportunity for an intern in a position responsible for managing all of our marketing and customer communications efforts. This opportunity could lead to a full-time position at our beautiful Old Town Alexandria office.

The right person for this opportunity is:
Outgoing and enthusiastic – we need a Marketing/Communications Major looking to gain real decision-making, career boosting, “I was the hero” experience – not busywork
Tech-savvy and driven – who understands how current technology can be used in marketing and can’t wait to put it into practice
Organized and intelligent -  able to plan coordinated marketing campaigns, analyze results and make budget spending decisions
Creative and experienced – with InDesign and HTML and ready to produce knock-out brochures, newsletters, web content, mailings and ads that will be seen by millions (well maybe not quite millions)

Position Details:

Fall and Spring internship positions available
Part time – 16 to 24 hours per week depending on schedule
Rate – $12.00 per hour
On-site parking is available

Preferred qualifications:
Prefer Juniors and Seniors, but will consider other class levels
Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications or related fields
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
