Long & Foster has an immediate opening for an Accounting Coordinator Accounts Payable in our Accounting Department located in Chantilly, VA.  Under the supervision of the manager/senior accountant, this role accurately codes and inputs data independently, primarily accounts payable with some cash receipts/accounts receivable, via the financial operating software.  Regular, predictable and dependable attendance is essential to satisfactory performance of this job.

This position requires a high school diploma, some college course work and three years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.  Excellent organizational skills are required and the person must be detail-oriented.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required.  GP Dynamics (Great Plains) software experience is a plus. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced high volume environment while adhering to strict deadlines.  The position requires the ability to deal with pressure and field personnel in a professional manner.
