Homestead Funding – Marketing Assistant

Homestead Funding is a local mortgage company located in the Tysons Corner area.  They are hiring a summer intern to help with their marketing and recruiting efforts. The position is Marketing Assistant and it’s function is to support the Business Development and Sales Managers with the creation and implementation of a marketing plan, creation of hard and soft copy marketing materials, organization of existing and new marketing collateral.  In addition the marketing assistant will be helping to implement a “drip” campaign using soft and hard collateral and a social media presence.

Required skills are:  

• Excellent written and spoken communication
• Sound understanding of the principles of marketing
• Knowledge of social media marketing (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Excellent copy writing skills – ability to rework text for a broader audience
• Creative and innovative attitude
• Good attention to detail
• Professional demeanor

HF offers a professional yet fun environment to learn and further develop business skills. MS office suite proficiency is required.
