Office of Internal Audit, Fairfax County Public Schools – Summer Position, Audit Intern

Salary: $12.80/hr
Description: There are four temporary full-time positions available from approximately mid-June through mid-August 2012 The interns will assist in conducting school activity funds audits and other audits as necessary and are required to provide own transportation for in-county travel; mileage reimbursement provided. Applicant should be a rising college junior or senior or recent graduate majoring in accounting or business.
Requirements: Mandatory 2.0 g.p.a. overall with a 2.5 g.p.a. in major and successful completion of intermediate accounting courses. Work experience and/or education must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills. Computer skills required, specifically MS Excel 2007 and Word 2007. A demonstration of computer and communication skills will be required at the time of interview.
