Griffith University is in Queensland, Australia, the “Sunshine State.” Queensland is the most northern state on Australia’s east coast with a landscape ranging from outback deserts to lush tropical rainforests and coral reefs of the Great Barrier Reef. Queensland has an average of 300 days of sunshine a year and a warm climate, hence its nickname, “The Sunshine State.”
