Join Social Venture Consulting (SVC), a student probono consulting firm providing research solutions in the areas of organization and strategy development to nonprofits that benefit the Greater Washington community.  Partnered with the Mason Center for Social Entrepreneurship, SVC is composed of George Mason University students interested in social innovation and non-profit development.

Benefits include gaining real consulting experience supported by Booz Allen Hamilton (www.boozallen.com) and Ashoka: Innovators for the Public (www.ashoka.org) advisors, learning marketable skills from working with a client and providing a professional product, learning about running and managing small and medium non-profits or social enterprises and connecting with a wealth of resources from Ashoka, the Center for Social Entrepreneurship and the non-profit world.

SVC is currently consulting three non-profits for the fall 2011 cycle, including an organization focused on educating college women in public policy and an organization focused on domestic abuse and violence education and prevention.
