Fall 2013 New Delivery Format

October 31, 2012

General

In the fall of 2013 the Mason MBA program will be rolling out a brand new delivery model that will allow our professional evening MBA students to complete their degree in two years rather than the traditional three.  The Mason MBA is still an AACSB Accredited Business School, ranked, 48 credit hour program but with the new modular format the degree can be completed in a short 24 months.  All courses will still be offered in the evenings, beginning at 6:30pm so for working professionals this allows you to complete  your work day and make it class.  The program will progress by taking two courses at a time, two days a week for 11 weeks.  There are four 11 week modules throughout the year with breaks in-between for holidays and summer vacation.  One of the 11 week modules will contain one three credit hour elective course and the Global Residency course which provides an international educational business experience.

The Mason Professional Evening MBA delivery redesign was undertaken in an effort to provide working professionals a high quality MBA program in the Washington DC area in an expedited time frame.  Because the curriculum, faculty and student support services remain the same students can be guaranteed the same high value Mason MBA experience, and access to an extensive alumni network in a few short years.
