Andriuk, Stephan P.

'92 BS in Business Administration
Deputy Executive Director, Miami-Dade Expressway Authority

With more than fourteen years of experience in transportation specifically in the arena of tolls and expressways, Andriuk might tell you that the quickest way to get from point A to point B is to take the toll road. He currently serves as the Deputy Executive Director and Director of Toll Operations of the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority and is responsible for the long range planning, design, construction and integration of new toll plazas and equipment. He also serves as an advisor on innovative technologies in the tolling industry. Previously, Andriuk was the Administrator of the renowned Chesapeake Expressway in Virginia, and also served the Virginia Department of Transportation working on the Dulles Toll Road and the Powhite Parkway Extension.

When asked about his experiences at Mason, Andriuk says, “Many of my colleagues and friends attended Princeton, Harvard, and other institutions better known as the ‘Ivy League’ schools. When comparing my experiences at George Mason with them, it was extremely satisfying to conclude that the George Mason professors I had for my upper level coursework were more attuned to the ‘actual’ business world; helping me to better prepare and succeed.”
