The School of Management’s Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Jim Wolfe, is a management executive, consultant, and attorney with more than twenty-five years of business leadership experience in the U.S. and internationally. Wolfe has experience with more than 50 startup ventures as a founder, director, advisor, or consultant and has counseled some of the region's largest employers on their programs in innovation and new product development.
As Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Wolfe works closely with School of Management faculty and the regional business community to shape new academic and co-curricular programs that advance teaching, research, and student learning related to entrepreneurship. His responsibilities include enhancing the entrepreneurship concentration in the Mason MBA program, cultivating and building alliances with regional organizations and companies, and serving as an assistant professor of management.
Wolfe teaches MBA courses and executive programs and is also responsible for the new Entrepreneurship Laboratory course, a unique business start-up training module for aspiring entrepreneurs in the MBA program. In 2008, he was selected as one of the Outstanding Faculty Members of the Year by the graduating MBA class.
