To deepen the business community’s participation in the development of future business leaders, the School of Management at George Mason University maintains a strong tradition of building business partnerships through the Dean’s Advisory Board.
Several of the School of Management’s academic programs and areas have advisory councils composed of business and community leaders in the respective program fields.
The advisory board and councils provide a unique real world perspective that enables the school and its programs to blend theory and practice in the curriculum and ensures that the programs’ curricula meet current industry needs and provide a rigorous education for current and future students.
More than 125 area business leaders serve as advisors on SOM’s board and councils.
