Fei Xie received his BS in finance from Tsinghua University and his PhD in finance from Vanderbilt University. His research interests include corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, executive compensation, venture capital, and securities issuance.
His paper entitled "Corporate Governance and Acquirer Returns" appears in the August 2007 issue of the Journal of Finance. Another paper, entitled "Corporate Governance Transfer and Synergistic Gains from Mergers and Acquisitions", is forthcoming in the Review of Financial Studies. He is also the winner of the Best Doctoral Research Award at the Southern Finance Association 2003 Annual Meetings.
Prior to joining Mason, Xie taught at San Diego State University. |
