Stanislava (Stas) Nikolova is an assistant professor of finance at the School of Management. She received her PhD from the University of Florida and a BS in Management from the State University of New York, Geneseo.

Nikolova’s current research focuses on the management and regulation of financial institutions, fixed-income securities, and credit-risk assessment. Prior to joining the faculty at George Mason University in 2004, she taught at the undergraduate level at the University of Florida.
